Some say the world will end with fire.

Others say with ice.

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those that favor fire.

But if I had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate,

To say that for destruction ice,

Is also great and would suffice.

HOME SWEET HOME

We got home last night about 6:00 p.m. after taking Inklings Mom south to see her Doctor. We left at 8:00 a.m. so it was a pretty long day in cars. We were supposed to get a big storm yesterday and we had beautiful weather (minus the wind) all day long.

The Doctor gave my MIL a clean bill of health so we won't have to take her down again unless something unforseen occurs. It is very nice to have her on the mend. She was terribly sick with her last surgery and we are all glad that she has finally recovered to the point she isn't in a Doctors care.

When we arrived home we stopped at a store to buy some bread for dinner. When we went in it was about 60 degrees. When we came out about ten minutes later it was about 40 degrees and the wind was howling and very cold. We got home and ate dinner and it started to rain. Shortly after that it changed to snow. When I got up this morning we had 4 inches of snow on the lawn but none on the side walks or roads. It started snowing again a few minutes ago. I am certainly happy to have the storm---after we got home from the trip---let 'er snow.
