Some say the world will end with fire.

Others say with ice.

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those that favor fire.

But if I had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate,

To say that for destruction ice,

Is also great and would suffice.

Brighter Days

We had a great weekend with Native Minnow and his kids (tortilini, logster, and Mr. M) and Tennis Girl here for the Holiday. It was a good visit with them and I had a great time teasing Mr. M.

Yesterday I was watching TV and no one else was in the room--all of a sudden the TV screen went BLUE then BLACK---I looked around and couldn't see anything wrong so I turned it back on with the remote. A few seconds later I saw a little hand reach over the arm of the couch and push the off button. 'Twas Mr. M getting even with his grandpa.

It was hilarious to see him scramble when I yelled.

That is so cute. I'm glad you're his Grandpa.

I had an absolute ball with the kids over the week end---had a problem with the gun but I'll get that fixed before the next go round. Wish you could 'a' made it down---I am really glad Inklings set the right example on this a few years back.
