When I was in Cub Scouts about a hundred years ago I started collecting pennies. When my Mother died last year I got them back. A few months ago I got them out and started trying to finish them up. Gettin' close now---only lack 5 to have all the pennies from all the mints from 1909 to 2009. It has been kind of fun and Epitome of Sweetness has helped a bunch finding them.

This is being updated on 1/20--I visited the bank several times this week for $10.00 worth of pennies. Sorted through them most of two days---ta da---complete set.

List the ones you are missing, so that maybe if we find them we can give them to you.
Mine aren't so organized. I have countless pennies in a large jar that are all older. My wife - as an accountant - is horrified, but has decided to tolerate this behavior.
Looney, it has been fun trying to finish them out---I plan to do some things to get the newer set starting today. I'm going to the bank and getting rolls of pennies, going through them for the ones I need and then re-rolling them and going back for more.
Got all of the pennies from 1909 to 2009 except: 1909 S VDB; 1909 S; 1914 D; 1924 D; and 1931 S. Feels pretty good to be this close and that is probably as close as I'll ever be.
