NEW BOSS

I am in absolute shock at what happened today at about 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The Secretary of Agriculture appointed a new Chief to lead the Forest Service. I am in shock because the now replaced Chief was in place only a very short time. I don't think anyone really saw this one coming - and I know for sure that the rest of the leadership in the Forest Service didn't have a clue this was coming.

It is never a good change when they do it overnight - NEVER - No matter what they are trying to do it stinks when things are done this way.

Wow, I wonder why they did that! Do you think it was due to the new President? Hopefully he will be a good one!

There is no doubt that this was politically motivated but I am not sure what the politics are. I have worked for the new Chief in a different location and he's smart. Guess time will tell what this is all about. At least he has been through all the required chairs for Chief so this isn't a total political appointment.
