Some say the world will end with fire.

Others say with ice.

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those that favor fire.

But if I had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate,

To say that for destruction ice,

Is also great and would suffice.

6/10/2009 5:30 p.m.

Talked to Inkilings a few minutes ago and they are keeping Grandma another day. Nene answered the phone at the hospital so I thought I had a wrong number. I nearly hung up. It is good to have the two girls together to help with this situation.

Hope things go good and they get home tomorrow.

I am going on a two day horseback trip to the southern end of the state tomorrow morning so won't be home again until Friday night late. Sorry - just couldn't pass up this opportunity. Hope everything goes well with the rest of the world while I am recovering my sanity. I think I can find it we are going riding through a fire I was on a few years ago to review the rehabilitation and to see how the recovery is going. I think I lost my mind when I was on that fire - I think that is where and when it went - but maybe not.

I went on the trip - and it wasn't to the Wilderness just to a fire that burned in 2004 that I was on. Suffice it to say I was impressed by the recovery of the grasses and brush. It is truly amazing what nature can do in as little as five years.

Only problem with a two day trip is I haven't been on a horse for two years and as of right now I can hardly walk and can barely stand to sit.

But I did get to spend the time with some people that I really like and that really like me. But as far as the mind goes it was not located there.
