BEARS IN THE WOODS
The Forest Service in Northern Utah is in a Federal lawsuit because as bear killed a kid that was comping in a dispersed area with his family four years ago. The family is sueing for $2 million. I am really sorry that the family lost their son but I cannot believe the courts will award the family a settlement. If they do the rest of you users of the National Forests had better watch out. You will start seeing closures of the forest for weather and for rattle snakes and any other risk factor that might be lurking in the woods. Looney you might need to stop publishing your pictures of snakes as the pictures prove they are around.

What a ridiculous lawsuit.
Out here, people are viewed as varmints, so the same result could be achieved with the opposite reasoning: If a mountain lion kills a person it is evidence that the land belongs to the mountain lion and the stupid humans should be banned.
Here it is the stupid government should stay out of my life and let me do whatever I want---until something bad happens---then they can give me a couple of mil to get by on.
