The fire has an Area Command team and four Type 1 Fire Teams on it. That is an awful lot of elite firefighters directing the effort.

I think they put so many men on it because at first they were worried that it would get the Lab, but now it's gone past the Lab so they're not worried about that any more. When it got close to the Lab, it made national news. Thanks for posting this. My hysband keeps asking me to look up how the Las Conchas Fire is doing and I keep forgetting too.
