From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those that favor fire.
But if I had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate,
To say that for destruction ice,
Is also great and would suffice.

I prefer the philosophy of this minor to what passes for profound in the universities.

I got the statement from his grand daughter who I work with on fires. I told her I wanted to post it and she said her grandfather would be proud---so there 'tis.
