PINEWOOD DERBY TIME


I got there at the requested time---waited about a half hour for the rest to show up.

Had a pretty good showing of cars to race.

It has always been fun for me to be the starter for the Derby. I get a kick out of watching the kids react to their handiwork.

It was a hoot---after the real races the kids ran their cars against each other for about an hour---some crashed and lost their wheels but the kids didn't seem to care. The winners didn't participate.
