'TWAS A NICE WEDDING

We married our last daughter off almost two months ago but I finally got the picture I have been wanting to put on here. The photographer only got one quick chance to get this shot and I think it turned out awesome. My daughter wasn't the happiest camper that I was going to wear cowboy boots to her wedding but was OK with them after I spit shined them.

IT TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT DAY!!!

This little fire has been burning about 20 hours now and lots of people are nervous about it burning this close to their homes. It is a little nerve wracking but the fuel type is such that the fire will burn through it and be out because there isn't much there. On the other hand it burns very rapidly when it is burning. The winds blow it all over the place and it just follows along. The crews have made good progress anD all the fire appears to be on the backside of the mountain this morning.

HOPE THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL TODAY!

Went to the rifle range with the kids that were left when we got home from church. It was awesome to watch the nine year old shoot the Judge. The look on his face when he pulled the trigger the first time was great. He had watched the guns jump on TV when they were shot but he had no idea how hard they jumped. The 15 year old had fun shooting it too. We shot mostly .410 shotgun shells (3rd picture) but their dad and I shot a few .45 rounds (1st picture) just for fun.
